Every year I always struggle with what to get my girlfriends and family for Valentine’s Day so I end up just sending them a quick text about how much they mean to me and then leave it at that (I know, lame!). This year, I feel so much more prepared and have finally found a special gift that I can send to my closest friends. You can never go wrong with adding a personal touch to any gift and it’s an added bonus when the items are both useful and beautiful and that is why I am so excited to share my collaboration with Basic Invite with you.
What is Basic Invite, you ask? The online stationary company is pretty awesome. What makes them different from other online stationary companies is that they are one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. This process allows you to make sure that the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. For example, I have an obsession with Beyoncé, which you will come to find out, and I was even able to create stationary that had a fun Queen Bey twist to it (check out the last picture).
At first, I was a little bit overwhelmed by the amount of colors and customizable options that were available, but then once I had an idea of what I wanted to create, I had so much fun with the process. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order. I absolutely loved this feature because I was able to see first hand what my products were going to look like without making the commitment to purchase everything and possibly not loving my products.
I took the customization process to a new level and used the templates of cards and stationary that I thought were beautiful and put my own personal touch on them. I changed the fonts, the colors and even what the cards said. The example note cards above were originally thank you cards that I customized to become fun note cards to send to my friends. You can have a lot of fun creating your own stationary, even if you do not have a special occasion that you are planning for.
Whether you are planning a wedding, baby shower, birthday party or simply want to send your friends a unique and personalized gift, Basic Invite really does provide you with everything that you need. I wish that I had a party to plan right now just so that I could use some of their custom invitations options because they are just so pretty.
If you are looking for a great gift for your friends for Valentines day or know of anybody in your life celebrating a special occasion soon, then share the below with them!
